Job Summary
Head Coach Women’s Swimming – Part-Time
- Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of a swim program including:
- Recruiting and retaining student-athletes
- Practice and game planning and execution
- Coordinating technical, tactical, and fitness/conditioning training sessions
- Assuring program is in compliance with all Departmental, University, and NCAA rules, regulations, and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations including Title IX.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated swimming coaching ability – may include appropriate coaching licensure or certification.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- The ability to articulate the vision, mission and core values of Division III Athletics and athletics at the University.
- Ability to work collaboratively with athletic department and building staff members as well as with members/staff of other groups/divisions on Campus.
