Summer/Fall Intern, Corporate Partnerships

Job Summary

• Responsible for assisting the Partnerships team on all aspects including sales, activation, and partner relations.
• The position will include day-to-day management of the sales process including prospecting, outreach, and pitching, in addition to supporting community and matchday activations.
• Have an understanding of soccer, a foundation in sales and marketing, and a desire to communicate with partners and leads on a daily basis.

• Be an integral of the Corporate Partnerships team and assist with partnership sales and marketing initiatives of the Club.
• Support corporate sales functions.
• Assist department in generating partnership leads within the community.
• Assist with writing and developing proposals and/or materials for prospective partners.
• Assist with partnership fulfillment, activation and annual reports.
• Support Partnership staff during home matches and assist with community engagement events.
• Assist with matchday setup and takedown of activation elements.
• Be an ambassador of the Club within the corporate community.
• Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Club.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability work in fast-paced environments. 
• Willingness to listen, learn, and grow. 
• Strong time-management skills and multi-tasking abilities. 
• Proficient skills of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google software.
• Strong natural selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.
• Working knowledge of soccer would be advantageous.

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis as well as for all match days during internship.
• Ability to work Summer and Fall during the USL season.
• Office hours in Fall will be reduced for school.
