Job Summary

Description

• Assists the Head Coach with management of off-the-court details for the Men’s Basketball program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation, hotels and meals for away-from-home contests.
• Coordinate recruiting visits and transportation for coaches.
• Coordinate recruiting visits (official and unofficial) for prospective student-athletes.
• Assist with community and donor relations.
• Assist with game scheduling and practice plans.
• Track student-athlete’s academic progress.
• Management of summer camps (team and individual).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of intercollegiate men's basketball.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow the NCAA compliance rules, especially recruiting.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Ability to deliver the same and consistent messages as the head coach about techniques, drills and plays and attitude goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Basketball coaching experience required.
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ARMS software.
• Intercollegiate basketball playing experience.
• Men's basketball intercollegiate experience.
• Division I experience.
