Job Summary

• Oversee the organization and implementation of equipment and system requirements on behalf of the club


• Oversee the development of preventive maintenance procedures required for equipment throughout club facilities 


• Provide practical input for the development and implementation of maintenance for equipment/systems


• Conduct maintenance and repairs as required on all building equipment/systems


• Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of chilled water, hot water, and HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting and general carpentry


• Manage and provide support for all contractor utilization 


• Maintain and coordinate the outsourcing of heavy repairs and contracted services


• Manage the monitoring, control, and periodic testing of all emergency systems


• Develop monitoring procedures and track office/plant performance


• Interact with management and employees with diplomacy, tact and be a team player


• Ability to recognize and solve problems; Bottom-line oriented; advocate for company


• Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs.


• Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials


• Maintains a clean and safe work space

• Ability to handle multiple tasks or assignments at the same time


• Experience with the coordination and management of contractor personnel


• Experience with HVAC and plant systems and an understanding of design concepts


• Highly professional ethical standards are required


• Must be a self-starter and proactive to seek methods of improvement


• Must have a valid Driver’s License


• High School Diploma or GED is required


• Experience with facility cooling automation, startup, and commissioning activities a plus 


• Previous food service equipment experience preferred but not required


• Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when necessary


• The ability to demonstrate dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned  and varying shifts and completing responsibilities in a timely manner is required


• Must have the ability to stand, sit, crouch and bend throughout the course of daily activities


• Ability to work in various climates based on the environment


• Must have the legal right to work in the US


• Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English in a working environment


• Ability to adapt and work effectively in various parts of the facility


• Ability to lift 25 pounds is required
