Job Summary

Responsibilities

• assisting in the administrative aspects of a division 1 program including planning and preparation of practices and games
• implementing and maintaining a recruiting database
• managing student managers and practice players
• organizing travel arrangements, closely monitoring student-athletes academic needs, and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree required


2. Experience in a Division I men’s basketball program


3. An understanding of the correct application of NCAA regulations


4. Strong Commitment to the academic goals of the University


5. Excellent organizational, communication, and public relations skills


6. One year of experience performing team support, undergraduate assistant coach or manager responsibilities for a Division I NCAA men’s Basketball program.


7. Proficiency with social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
