Director, Corporate Partnerships

Job Summary

• Responsible for establishing new marketing partnerships to achieve annual revenue goals. 
• Conduct outreach as a way of securing appointments to procure new partnerships at the local, regional and national level. 
• Analyze specific marketing needs of prospects based on partner objectives and deliver integrated proposals
• Develop meaningful relationships with partners and potential sponsors. 
• Work closely with the partnership services team to ensure that clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of all contract details. 
• Assist with team marketing events and other initiatives.  
• Maintain collaborative working relationships with other internal departments.
• Act as Club ambassador within the business community.
• Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Club.

Essential Skills, Experience & Abilities:

• Must have a strong sales background with proven track record of success in professional team sports, large sports-related media companies, major sports/entertainment events and/or other related industries.  
• Proven track record of developing and managing highly strategic corporate partnerships. 
• Strong prospecting, analytical, presentation and communication skills. 
• Comfortable managing tight deadlines and meeting aggressive sales goals and expectations. 
• Team player with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management and clientele. 
• Relationship builder, with a focus on long-term partnerships. 
• Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.
