Director of Basketball Administration (Men's Basketball)

Job Summary

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Works directly with the director of basketball operations to assist in all day to day operations of the program which include but not be limited to; organizing recruiting and team travel, practice and training scheduling, and various other day to day duties.
• Assists our special assistant to the head coach with media outreach opportunities.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a broad marketing plan to grow and develop all coaching clinics and team camps.
• Develops and maintains campus and community relations with leaders in all areas to create and maintain opportunities for our team to connect with important members of the campus and local community.
• Works closely with the Court Club to assist in building and maintaining relationships with our local fan base.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Adequate knowledge of computers
• Possess good communication and organizational skills
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Big Ten Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at the NCAA level
• Experience using software such as Synergy, Sportscode, Team Works, Jump Forward, Adobe products and/or Microsoft products
