Job Summary

Job Description:

• This position is a part-time, 12-month position responsible for providing exemplary student-athlete experience emphasizing academic achievement, personal development, social responsibility and competitive excellence.
• Responsibilities include organizing, developing and administering all phases of the basketball program including on-field coaching, recruitment, budget management, fundraising, ordering of equipment, administering the schedule and team travel arrangements, and the supervision of assistant coaches.

Supplemental Job Information:

• This position will not exceed 16.5 working hours per week.
• The Assistant Coach will work for the Head Coach

Qualifications:

1. The position requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer applicants with the following:

1. at least two years of coaching experience at the high school and/or college level.
2. knowledge of and adherence of NJCAA/FCSAA rules and regulations.
3. strong interpersonal skills.
4. commitment to student athlete development.
5. demonstrates knowledge of specific sport.
