Job Summary
Job Overview: Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering compelling creative in support of the Marketing, Sales & Partner Activation and Ticketing Departments. This role will collaborate with an existing creative team to help produce graphics for all content platforms and in addition will be the lead designer for all sales proposals, advertising campaigns and email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a collaborative environment but also must have a passion for innovation and ideation. Candidate must have an extensive portfolio that highlights experiences.
Responsibilities/Functions:
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements; Ability to bring those objectives and requirements to life via mockups, proposals, PowerPoint presentations and other creative elements using the most up-to-date technology
- Lead designer on sales and ticketing proposals, partner recaps in both digital and print formats
- Lead designer on all Direct to Consumer marketing and premium sales campaigns. (Design elements include but are not limited to banner ads, email marketing campaigns with a focus on lead generation, billboards and website landing pages)
- Collaborate, conceptualize and execute design elements for all content platforms including Social Media, Mobile App, Television, Stadium and Print Publications
- Manage multiple creative projects across departments and provide accurate timelines from start to finish
- Upholds all brand guidelines and standards across all content platforms
- Keep up to date and implement new creative methodologies and technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite with superior knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat
- Portfolio must include examples of digital advertising campaigns, email marketing designs and sales presentations (For Example: Banner ads, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a graphics department within professional/collegiate sports or an advertising agency
- Digital/Social Media Principals: Understand best practices on UI, responsive layouts, mobile design, social media graphic guidelines and fonts
- Print Principals: Basic understanding of print production
- Bachelor’s degree with focus on Graphic Design
- Excellent copywriting/proofreading
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who has worked in a highlight collaborative environment with other designers and stakeholders
- Ability to work non typical work hours including nights and weekends and in an extremely high paced deadline based environment.
