Security Manager

Job Summary

• Provide leadership of security operations including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments.


• Oversee building security systems are operating as necessary during event and non-event periods. Security systems include but are not limited to: cameras and access control; all physical security equipment (magnetometers, hand-wands, bollards, etc.)


• Develops and implements operations strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner.  


•  Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from customers; seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are meeting their needs.


• Supervises colleagues in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Recruit and hire team members as necessary.


• Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations by resolving issues, concerns, and complaints pertaining to security during events


• Research and analyze event information to provide staffing recommendations and estimates prior to events


• Make immediate decisions and communicate with security staff in emergency situations


•  Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

• Minimum of two (2) years of security experience at a professional sports venue, or within the military, or within local, state or national law enforcement preferred

• Experience managing other security professionals
