Job Summary


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the game production. 

  • Ultimate responsibility for in-game presentation, including on-field promotions, public address reads and video board content.

  • Create and execute strategic plans for all promotions, marketing, advertising and social media campaigns. 

  • Develop a promotional and marketing plan for theme nights and giveaways. Recommend the overall promotional calendar and work with the Executive Team to finalize annual promotional calendars. Manage execution of all theme and promotional nights.

  • Align the efforts of promotions, marketing, advertising, and social media initiatives to the overall goals of the organization.

  • Supervise social media and website staff and approve all content on both social media platforms and the team website.

  • Coordinate all activities of the team mascot; manage the image and performance of the mascot. Manage the process for scheduling mascot appearances.

  • Proactively research trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to stay in the forefront of new media.

  • Manage assigned group of employees by interviewing, hiring, and training; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer and/or the CEO.

Education/Professional Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or graduate degree in Sports Administration, Business, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field preferred.

  • At least three years of Minor League Baseball experience is necessary. Prior experience in marketing, in-game entertainment and promotions is strongly preferred. 

  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of marketing, social media, sales, marketing, analytics and digital media, have sound administrative skills, and well-developed management skills.

  • Proficient in computer operations including Excel, Word, mass email, social media and database applications.
