Head Volleyball Coach, NCAA

Job Summary

Essential Duties:

• Coach the Women's Volleyball team in game competition.  Direct daily practice during the prescribed season.
• Recruit prospective student-athletes.  Supervise team travel and responsible for team equipment checkout and return.  Construct competition schedule with approval of the Director of Athletics.  Enforce NCAA rules and regulations regarding team participation.  Assist with academic monitoring of student-athletes.
• Assist the Director of Athletics with public relations and fundraising activities.
• Supervise Assistant Coach
• Direct summer camps
• Perform other duties as assigned

• As a part of the job responsibilities associated with this position, knowledge of rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA & conference should be maintained, reviewed & practiced to ensure compliance relative to those applicable duties.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Education, Fitness or related program is preferred.

Experience

• Two years volleyball coaching experience required at the professional, college or high school level.
