Director of Video Production

Job Summary

• Produce traditional and digital media video content from concept to execution, including graphic, animation, and live video content for new state-of-the-art HD videoboard, LED displays, and HDTV displays throughout the ballpark


• Oversee all aspects of the game day multimedia presentation, production, and implementation


• Hire, direct and lead a team of seasonal staff that includes video display operators, camera operators, and related personnel necessary to enhance the overall game entertainment


• Manage production of video shoots and commercials through development of a production plan, writing scripts, scheduling, filming, and post-production work


• Collaborate with corporate partners, from vision to execution, with the end result of activating live, in-game, and digital content at the ballpark


• Oversee highlight library of current and past seasons including game archives and player/fan clips


• Manage day-to-day operation of the video department, including seasonal associates


• Execute A/V requirements for non-baseball special events in collaboration with special events department


• Contribute to promotions, marketing, and other team-related duties as directed by the General Manager

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with video production software, e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud


• As least 2+ years of experience managing entertainment productions with a focus on sports or live events


• Widespread knowledge of current video and social trends, game logistics, and latest technical equipment


• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited university or college


• Qualified candidates may be asked to submit a reel with their resumes and samples upon request

• Required to work long hours standing and walking around


• Sitting, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and/or crouching are all part of this position


• Must be able to handle weather related elements such as rain and heat
