Job Summary

 

 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field

  • 5-7 years of related work experience in digital media, advertising, branded content, or similar focusing on sales & revenue operations

  • Experience working with marketing partner activations thru digital platforms

  • Strong experience working within social media platforms and a thorough understanding of publisher ad product capabilities within each platform

  • Experience ideating, developing, and launching digital products

  • Proven ability to manage cross-team communications & implementing processes

  • Golf knowledge/background a plus

  • Internal understanding of cross-departmental relationships and stakeholders within a professional sports league is a plus.

  • Management experience

 
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal departmental teams and cross-oranizational stakeholders to help set the direction of the digital advertising product portfolio (O&O & off-platform), meant to capitalize on the market opportunities and drive new revenue streams for the digital business (what’s working, what’s not, where can we improve, etc.), inclusive of data strategy.

  • Surface insights & recommendations relative to optimizing our advertising products. This may include new creative ad formats, page placement, vendor partnerships, or industry trends.

  • Manage the onboarding, testing, and deployment of all new ad products. This requires project managing ad format development, test page setup/review, format certifications, etc.

  • Primary liaison and project manager for all O&O custom ad product sales requests (e.g. arenas, modules, native placements, etc.). This includes working with all stakeholders beginning with ideation thru to campaign completion, ensuring full campaign delivery and client success.

  • Own the product strategy and vendor partnerships that we have to support our branded content capabilities (presently Wayin/Jebbit), social platforms, and internal groups (content, sales development, product)

  • Lead communication within digital revenue operations, ensuring team has visibility into the ad product & technology pipeline and is aware of timelines, deployment cycles, and campaign impact.

  • Educate sales and ensure go-to market strategy is communicated and understood to aid in the sale of our ad products & capabilities.

  • Help support the development & publishing of the online media kit. This includes maintaining advertising specs, demos, performance metrics, and audience research.

  • Lead collaboration with the Marketing team on leveraging advertising products and data to efficiently use VIK assets to support growth in fan engagement.

  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
