Football Video Operations Technician, NCAA

Job Summary

Summary

• Assists with video operations within football through the preparation, planning and operation of video technology.
• This includes, but is not limited to the editing of game, practice footage, shooting and highlights.
• The Video Operations Technician will confer with Managers to select content to edit with audio-visual software tools.
• Additionally, this role is expect to operate and maintain video equipment including projectors, video monitors, recording equipment and related electronics required to produce multi-media content.

• Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and vendors
• Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated
• Proven ability to multi-task effectively
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
• Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
• Availability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
• Travel with sport teams for away contests
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations
• Experience with software such as XoS Thunder, Adobe Permiere, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects
• Experience with professional video equipment

Required Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year video experience at the NCAA Division I level or professional athletics video experience
