Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all marketing responsibilities of select sports; developing and implementing marking plans, promotional schedules and ticket sales campaigns as well as all aspects of game presentation (scripts, promotions, entertainment, etc.);
• Executing group sales plan to increase attendance through community outreach efforts (emphasis on emails and calls to past groups as well as creatively targeting new prospects);
• Overseeing the special marketing programs. (i.e. Junior Rowdy Rams Kids Club);
• Coordinating and managing mascot appearances;
• Assisting with various game day presentation duties for Men's Basketball (i.e. Scheduling National Anthem singers, serve as on-court game day coordinator);
• Establishing effective on-campus marketing efforts (i.e. presence at student orientations);
• Coordinating Athletics' presence at community events in and around the city;
• Assisting with coordination of various athletics communication mediums (i.e. Weekly student emails, faculty/staff telegrams, campus digital sign updates); and
• Other duties as assigned (i.e. assistance with social media and dance/cheer/band coordination).

Required Qualifications

• Admittance into a graduate program; and
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a graduate assistant at the University.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Knowledge of and prior work experience in intercollegiate athletics;
•    Strong customer service skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented; and
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication.
