Job Summary

Job Functions:

  • Manage in the fulfillment of partners’ sponsorship portfolios through the following mediums - venue, traditional media, digital and social media, event/promotions, hospitality, experiential, signage, and intellectual property rights for each season

  • Implement, activate and track all assigned partner assets to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled

  • Fulfill game day activation duties, by serving as department representative for on-site activations, meet and greets, tours, pre-game presentations and more  

  • With support of SVP, spearhead renewal discussions with partners including all communication within Global Partnerships division

  • Identify additional opportunities for current partners throughout the season that can generate incremental revenue to the organization

  • Initiate and maintain regular contact with client and/or client’s agency developing strong professional relationship  

  • Analyze and report marketing program performance to evaluate success of use of partner assets, deliver ROI deliverables and identify new growth opportunities

  • Track corporate partner activity and updates thru Salesforce system

  • Develop mid-year and end of year recap presentations  

  • Anticipate the needs of partners and communicate accordingly

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field

  • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years’ work experience in Sports Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Partner Activation, Media Agency or Business Development

  • Proven experience with sponsorship activation; ability to lead, manage and develop team in atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadline pressures

  • Proven prior experience with sponsorship activation including managing, renewing, and up-selling major accounts

  • Possess excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage broad portfolio of projects, in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and organizations

  • Possess excellent attention to detail

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
