Job Summary
The University invites applications for the position of Head Football Coach. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the football program including but not limited to: recruiting; fund-raising; summer camps; fiscal management; monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes; NCAA and conference compliance; scheduling; planning; practice and game supervision; personnel training and supervision; maintaining positive relations with support staff, university community, off campus constituents, media and alumni and fulfill other duties as they arise or as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Minimum Qualifications (Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three years successful football coaching experience at an NCAA institution or professional level or six years of successful head coaching experience on the high school level.
- Experience with fundraising, alumni relations, community engagement and media.
- Can demonstrate established recruiting networks.
- Familiarity of NCAA rules and commitment to a strong compliance culture.
- Commitment to academic excellence, graduating student-athletes, community service, citizenship, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment required.
- Effective administrative and technological skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes, faculty, staff, alumni, supporters, media and the general public.
