Intern, Partnership Activation

Job Summary

• Assist with administration and execution of all Partnership Sales programs


• Conduct competitive research and deliver case studies for best in class in-game promotions and sponsor-related activation programs


• Implement pre-game and in‑game promotions, contests and fan-related programming


• Administer various marketing programs and contests (e.g. Major League Moment, Play Ball Kid, Miller Lite Beerpen)


• Update  marketing database with new consumer info (contest entries, lead generation data, etc.)


• Perform radio broadcast audits; track commercial placement and inventory


• Provide administrative support to Partnership Sales staff, as needed


• Other duties may be assigned

• Strong communication, writing, analytical, and organizational skills


• Good computer skills, including some proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Sports Marketing/Administration, Marketing, or Marketing Research degree

• To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Confidence and competence to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
