Job Summary
Summary of Duties:
Under the guidance of team physicians and administrative supervision by the Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Medicine, this position coordinates and manages all athletic training services provided to football student-athletes. Duties include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and case management, as well as supervision of the athletic medicine staff assigned to the football program and facility management of the Football Complex Athletic Medicine Facility. All duties must be performed within State, University, Department, Conference, NCAA, and NATA expectations, guidelines, best practices, and when appropriate legislation and laws. This position is also responsible for assisting with clinical education and supervision and mentoring Athletic Training students in the accredited Athletic Training Curriculum Program.
Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree in a related field and five (5) years of demonstrated experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities, including one (1) year of supervisory or program oversight experience. NATA Certification and Adult CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
