Job Summary
Account Executive
Sell Fayetteville Marksmen season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and suite inventory
Achieve or exceed aggressive out-bound call goals to past customers and make cold-calls to businesses to generate new sales
Answer in-bound calls to provide customer service to existing customers and answer general questions about the Fayetteville Marksmen
Maintain computerized records of all clients and prospects by use of ticketing software
Develop relationships through excellent customer service in an effort to acquire renewal business
Meet with management to provide accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, outside appointments, and account management
Conduct in-arena appointments and tours to assist in generating new business opportunities
Achieve and exceed sales goals for all ticket inventory and/or promotions
Conduct in-seat client visits to clients during the season
Assist in the renewal and maintenance of existing season accounts
Actively compete in sales competitions and other sales-related contests
Participate and contribute to weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
Community Relations
· Manage community appearances for Fayetteville Marksmen· Set schedule for appearances, securing/confirming players, transportation, and staffing· Organize, review and file donation requests· Manage relationship building with the organizations benefiting from the program· Facilitates charitable opportunities, administers fundraising activities (in arena and externally)· Assists with scheduling media and promotional opportunities· Serves as primary contact for community outreach· Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Ownership and team PresidentVOLUNTEER PROGRAM · Lead various employee volunteer opportunities throughout the season and off-season·Research potential community partnerships that align with team focus areas · Support department activation's such as scoreboard messages & wish granting programsCOMMUNITY PARTNER RELATIONSHIP · Serve as contact for select community partner relationships·Maintain regular contact and an open line of communication with designated partnersKids Club · Run Mini Marksmen kids club and coordinate all Mini Marksmen events ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:You will also be responsible for assisting with the following department activities:
· Support Community Outreach Initiatives· Collaborate with President on seasonal evaluation reporting and event tracking · Provide support of Charities fundraising events· Represent team in a professional manner at partner dinners and galas·Planning of special community events, and in-school programs. · Organizing and scheduling logistics for Community Events· Help organize Youth Hockey Clinics at schools and Community Centers· Coordinate activities for staff to get involved in the community and assist with the Volunteer Program· Assist in the processing and fulfillment of in-kind donations·Respond to all community relations phone calls and e-mail inquiries and requests.
REQUIREMENTS: • Excellent communication skills - grammar, spelling, proofreading, and writing abilities • College degree or relevant experience preferred • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, and to meet strict deadlines • A self-starter who is a good problem solver, very organized, with strong attention to detail • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook • Flexibility in terms of handling a variety of assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on branding, consistency, and quality • Highly organized, motivated and responsible with good time and project management abilities • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays • Tech-savvy with both Apple and Microsoft products
