Director of Athletics, NCAA

Job Summary

Independent college prep school is seeking an Athletic Director.

The Athletic Director is responsible for overseeing the athletic department and for working with the coaches, faculty and administration in furthering the mission of the school, especially as it relates to character.

Qualifications (preferred):

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of five years teaching and coaching experience in an independent school environment.
• Well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning methods.
• A valid First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross, including CPR training.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and facilitative skills
