Job Summary


Responsibilities

  • Developing, planning, scripting, and executing all onfield entertainment and team sponsorship requirements

  • Ensure a fun, engaging ballpark atmosphere for fans through booking of bands, food trucks, and experiential elements for gamedays

  • Manage all aspects of the MLB Team Foundation’s 50/50 Raffle on gamedays including sales and fulfillment 

  • Lead gameday projects as they arise such as jersey auctions, tabling, check presentations, pre-game ceremonies, and special appearances

  • Organizing and preparing all relevant information for Game Production and Staff Meetings, and working seamlessly with Creative Services Coordinator on all production

  • Writing nightly game scripts for the PA Announcer, and the front office staff

  • Work with internal departments and external vendors to plan and execute theme nights for all 70 home games

  • Collaborate with creative team to develop logos, identities, promotions, and other creative concepts

  • Hire, manage, and schedule the team’s gameday promotional team, and work hand-in-hand with Mascot Coordinator

  • Oversee auditions for National Anthem and other ballpark entertainment performers

  • Brainstorm creative ideas for marketing home games and events, and take ownership of collateral distribution including pocket schedules and flyers

  • Creatively executes gameday tasks to create a fun environment at Coolray Field consistent with standards and expectations

  • Other duties as assigned

 
Qualifications:

  • Creative thinking is crucial

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, and experience working in sports promotions

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a stressful environment

  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Creative, ambitious, and energetic personality with the ability to motivate others positively

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office required; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  • Availability to work long hours, night, and weekends
