Field Manager

Job Summary

The Field Manager will report to the Owner and General Manager and the duties of the position include:

• Oversee all aspects of the team
• Assemble coaching staff
• Use baseball connections to strengthen the roster. Recruit and retain players
• Work with staff and players on development – providing training and instruction
• Handle all practice and game-day preparations
• Work with designated staff members on roster 
• Responsible for final decisions on all aspects of on-field team strategy
• Manage day to day operations of the team including travel, itineraries and player communication
• Enforce team rules
• Assist in promoting and helping secure player participation for Children/Sponsor Clinics, pregame sponsor experiences and other appearances.  
• Be personally available for sponsor or community related events, based on team schedule, if deemed necessary by the GM
• Ensure the team is maintaining a positive relationship with the public, sponsors, fans,supporters, media, host families, etc
