Job Description:
The assistant position is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career as a college golf coach. The graduate assistant will work in conjunction with the head coach to support the program's recruiting, player development, practices, and tournaments. The graduate assistant will earn essential experience for a future career in coaching. This position affords its holder with a high level of responsibility and opportunity. The graduate assistant must successfully enroll as a full-time graduate student in the Graduate Programs in Education (GPE).
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (or be completing a bachelor's degree prior to August of 2020) with at least an overall 3.0 undergraduate GPA to be considered for admission to the graduate program. Preference will be given to candidates with collegiate golf experience. Candidates must have at least two years of driving experience on a state-issued license. The successful candidate will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
