Job Summary

• This coaching appointment is responsible for assisting the head coach and helping to manage other assistant coaches and managers with the planning and administration of all aspects of the Division I volleyball program.
• In addition, this position will have primary responsibilities in the organization of recruiting coordinator, video coordinator, scouting breakdowns, player development, and organization and planning of team travel, while assisting in all other aspects of the volleyball program.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Three (3) years of volleyball coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level or five (5) years of coaching at any college level.

• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of employment.

• Must be able to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test for off-campus recruiting within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter.

• Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience as a Head or Assistant Volleyball Coach at the collegiate level.

• Four (4) years of volleyball playing experience at the collegiate level.

• Previous work experience in the Big Sky Conference.

• Recruiting experience at the collegiate level.

• Experience and a clear understanding of recruiting software University Athlete.

• Comprehensive video experience with Volley and Volleymetrics.
