Senior Coordinator Digital Content

A position available for an indidvidual who has a passion for both Sports and Social Media. A reknown team is seeking a Senior Digital Content Coordinator to support the Digital & Content team with a specific focus on building and maintaining our community across existing and emerging platforms.

 

This role is responsible for leading community management across all channels, maintaining the content calendar and spearheading the launch of emerging platforms. This role will also support the live coverage of games and events, day-to-day publishing and content ideation. 

This person must have a passion for social media and internet trends, possessing a strong pulse on consumer behavior, an understanding of how sports and culture intersect and a knack for knowing what separates the best content from the rest. An ideal candidate will be an organized, proactive and creative thinker who can manage a content calendar one minute and cut funny and engaging GIFS the next. 

Significant knowledge of social media, community management and fan engagement is required. 3 to 4 years working in social media is ideal, with an understanding of the sports landscape preferred.  Passion about and knowledge of the topics that intersect with sports and lifestyle — music, pop culture, fashion —are a must, as well as a creative first mindset to create reactionary content that’s on brand.
