Job Summary


Responsibilities:

  • Post Producer I production responsibilities are broken down below in the stages of pre-production, production, post production, and managing creative content teams, both onsite at remote events.
    • Pre-Production: Responsibilities include 360 communication, conceptualizing, pitching and storyboarding ideas, writing scripts, hiring crews and talent, location scouting and contracting, setting production schedules, organizing footage and music clearances, wardrobe, props, makeup, travel arrangements, projecting and coordinating post production needs before the shoot ie: workflows, framerates, codecs, graphics support, audio sweetening and any other logistical needs for the preparation of a creative production project.
    • Production: Responsibilities include 360 communication, driving content, conducting athlete / talent interviews, set design and art direction, managing and directing crew and talent onset and coordinating logistics.
    • Post-Production: Responsibilities include 360 communication, coordinating technical, workflow and editorial needs during the edit. Ultimately the post producer is responsible for delivering the highest quality product on time, on budget and as expected.
  • The Post Producer I leadership and professional responsibilities include:
    • Content and Team Management: Responsibilities include 360 communication and management of content, sport group, CCU management and the creative team.
    • PPR Manager: Post Producer will have PA, CA or AP level direct reports. Expectations are to provide feedback, career guidance, mentorship and be the bridge for all HR processes and communications.



Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of five years of progressively complex related creative, editorial and storytelling sports production experience.
  • Has an in-depth ability to create and produce world-class, compelling creative content; generates and executes assigned projects, from concept to delivery.
  • Has in-depth mastery of the creative storytelling sports production processes & the ability to produce at the highest level.
  • Has ability to multi-task and manage self and small team at once.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of and can manage people who work in real-time sporting event production scenarios.
  • Has and applies in-depth knowledge of what story ideas and concepts to use for CCU projects.
  • Has a strong appreciation of popular culture, e.g., “what’s cool” and assists with defining the tastes of viewers.
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of sports and sports history and keeps current on changes and trends in the sports, creative, animation and television industries.
  • Availability to work nights/weekends/holidays.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work locations and facilities.
  • Frequent and sometimes lengthy travel required.


Preferred Qualifications :

  • Minimum of five 5 years of progressively complex related creative, editorial and storytelling sports production experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to solicit and champion creative and diverse ideas and viewpoints.


Required Education :

  • High School degree or equivalent


Preferred Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communication, Media, Journalism, or related fields
