This is a leading club in the United Soccer League (USL). This position will be part time and report to the Director of Soccer Operations and the Youth Technical Director. The position will require 5 plus hours on 7 home match days and 10 plus hours during the week.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Looking for an organized, responsible and pro-active Game Day Operations Assistant who will be responsible for assisting in game day set up before and after the match. This specific role will serve as the Game Day Operations Assistant during the match. A Game Day Operations Assistant, this person will work closely with the Director of Soccer Operations to ensure all pre-game, in game, and post-game tasks are completed as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations and the Youth Technical Director.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assisting in game day set-up
- Helps with the set-up of the on-field signage, upper deck signage, and game day banners in the concourse
- Responsible for communicating any issues with security to Director of Operations
- Must be on time and reliable for Pre-Match meeting on game days
- Assist in all walk out and pregame presentation
- Communicates professionally on the radio
- Completes Field and Bench checklist and submits the list to the Director of Operations
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILL SETS / INTANGIBLES SOUGHT:
- Currently pursuing a degree in sports management, communications, or hospitality
- Experience working in a team environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A team player able to work constructively and positively in supporting colleagues and all aspects of club development and success
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated qualities of honesty, integrity, credibility and strong work ethic
- Ability to work long hours, particularly on weekends and evenings
- Knowledge of, and passion for soccer
