Communications Seasonal Internship

Job Summary

• Monitor and record social media, TV and the internet for team-related posts


• Record and transcribe press conferences and player availabilities


• Draft media releases and itineraries


• Fill season-long and individual game credential requests in addition to practice and various other events


• Prepare interview preparation documents for both players and coaches


• Write and edit media guide and weekly game release


• Pitch stories for both the football team and corporate endeavors


• Staff and assist planning of corporate communication events

• Gameday responsibilities when team is at home and on the road

• College Graduate with a concentration in Communications, Public Relations or related background


• Strong writing skills; proven experience in use of AP style preferred.


• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a plus


• Experience with football statistics and statistic websites a plus


• Experience with social media a plus


• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week including nights and weekends 


• Must be available to work all Jets home games
