Mascot Assistant

Job Summary

• Work as a liaison at the home games as well as a variety of events in surrounding communities.
   
• Assist at home games in the creation and execution of skits, dance routines, and other forms of entertainment. 
   
• Assist at off-site community appearances such as parades, festivals, school, and hospital visits, private parties, grand openings, and other various events during the week and weekends.
   
• Assist in maintaining prop and wardrobe inventory.
   
• Represent the brand in a professional manner at all games and outside events.

• Must have availability during the regular MiLB season (April – September).
   
• Must have the ability to be trained, coached, and critiqued to perform as an assistant.
• Be creative and quick to learn and understand Slugger’s non-verbal communication methods.
• Excellent customer relations skills in interacting with fans and children quickly and efficiently.
• Poses a basic knowledge of baseball.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
   
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
