Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support a customer-centric department using best practices in customer service to deliver streamlined and efficient partnerships with stakeholders.
- Provide organizational support to the team including management of calendars, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and track all contract routing, processing and execution for the Division including coaching and consultant contracts, event contracts, hotel contracts, and Performance Partnership Agreements. Track and process all POs, payments, and reports during contract period.
- Support division leadership with budget planning, financial tracking, and financial analysis as necessary.
- Support team members in the presentation of information to a variety of audiences including athletes, staff, coaches, program partners, donors, sponsors, NGBs, and the public. Use electronic, print, and other media to ensure professional and effective delivery of messages. Support division leadership with drafting of correspondence, minutes, presentations and other written materials.
- Take minutes for meetings and follow up on action items with appropriate staff.
- Travel to offsite meetings and events as requested. Manage site office and serve as main point of contact for staff. Provide customer service and general support at events.
- In collaboration with other Paralympic division staff, contribute to the U.S. Paralympics athlete identification and development strategy. Represent U.S. Paralympics at national, regional, and local competitions and functions with particular emphasis on supporting the identification and development of potential Paralympic team members.
- Contribute to the overall planning and the sport development planning of the Paralympic division. Take leadership in developing and delivering on sport development initiatives with assigned sports, NGBs/HPMOs, and partner programs.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or combined equivalency of education and experience
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience with Olympic or Paralympic sport programs including event operations, logistics, and/or team management
- OR a combined equivalency of education and experience
Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service skills

- Office environment in multi-story building
- Occasional national and international travel
