Job Summary
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing support and assistance to the Partnerships Department and team marketing partners in all areas as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to service, fulfillment, communication and execution of all elements of every partnership agreement and other duties and assignments as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Initiate and maintain constant communication and excellent business relations with all corporate partners and prospects
- Fulfill all corporate sales agreements to satisfy team obligations and sponsor expectations
- Monitor and communicate sponsor feedback to maintain integrity of all relationships
- Coordinate and track all sponsor season, group and suite ticket distribution and catering needs
- Coordinate all off-site team/sponsor events including retail promotions, player/mascot appearances, grass roots initiatives and other events.
- Plan and coordinate annual sponsor trip
- Manage follow up on all inventory and proof of performance including artwork, photographs, samples, media summaries and impact analysis.
- Develop and update corporate sales revenue distribution sheets and reconcile with Finance Department
- Reconcile season, group, and suite tickets with Ticket Operations and Finance
- Fulfill all media requirements and prepare all scripts for promotional spots
- Coordinate sponsor press releases and game notes summaries with Communications/Media Relations
- Responsible for notifying all sponsors of deadlines and securing all necessary material
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to work independently
- Superior written and oral communication skills are essential
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of corporate sponsorships, inventory and sports marketing helpful
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Budget management and maintenance experience helpful
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a major plus
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
- Four-year college degree
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, project management, and/or promotions
- Experience as a sponsorship liaison, advertising sales or agency background helpful
