Athletics Director, NCAA

Job Summary

The Athletics Director will work closely with the Advancement Office, as an associate member, to ensure the financial well-being of the student-athlete experience and will network with alumni and friends of the College to identify, develop, and secure financial donors.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree required.
• Field of study preferred is Athletic Administration.
• 3 years of coaching experience and 5 years of athletics administration are required.

Skills and Characteristics:

• Ability to administer NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics program;
• Demonstrated managerial, organizational, and budget skills
• Ability to communicate and interface with College constituencies regarding athletic matters and fundraising opportunities
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the stages of student development and the importance of holistic education
• Ability to model Christian faith journey
• Demonstrated commitment to continual learning and growth in regards to diversity and reconciliation
• Ability to clearly articulate why inclusive excellence and cultural intelligence matter; demonstrated fund raising abilities
• And demonstrated commitment to continued learning/professional development (i.e. presentations, publications, serving on regional or national committees).
