Account Executive for Business Development

Job Summary

 

Job responsibilities will include:     

 
  • Generate sales by scheduling, coordinating and conducting meetings with prospective businesses  

  • Create and implement unique sales strategies by understanding areas and opportunities in the market  

  •  Consistently sell all ticket products amongst all professional sports properties with primary focus on Suite leases, Full Seasons, Suite Rentals, Corporate Groups and partials.  

  • Conduct a significant amount of Face-to-Face meetings with businesses out of office and in-game 

  • Seek out professional networking events to develop personal brand and network  

  • Provide superior customer service and renew Club Lexus and Suite Lease accounts  

  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and yearly sales goals amongst all products  

  • Work a variety of events to bring out prospective clients and service current accounts  

  • Meet or exceed weekly touchpoint and appointment goals  

  • Work closely with the sponsorship department to collaborate and provide sponsorship opportunities  

  • Understand and be knowledgeable of all ticket products  

  • Keep and maintain accurate CRM notes regarding all opportunities and activities  

  • Understand and continue education of current market trends across all industries   

  • Be involved and lead sales team meetings


Our ideal candidate will have the following:   

 
  • Ability to manage and build a large book of business through B2B client base  

  • Preferred experience selling premium products for a professional sports franchise  

  • Proficient business acumen and ability to create a successful network of industry connections  

  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills  

  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills  

  • Assertive, persistent, results driven sales process  

  • Strong time management skills  

  • High level work ethic and competitive  

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays  

 
Required minimum qualifications:   
  • Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree  

  • Experience Requirement – At least 3 years’ experience selling professional sports. Proven track record of sales success at the Account Executive level and involvement in outside organizations/non-profits
