Job Summary

 

Position Overview:
  • The Coordinator, Post Production is responsible for coordinating project management, formalizing processes and procedures, and scheduling for the in-house post production team.
  • This position will work with staff to effectively communicate creative and editorial content/strategies, as well as stepping in to edit as needed.


Responsibilities: 

  • Assign editor and motion graphics schedules, project timelines, establish client expectations, and communicate priorities for assignments to internal and external crew.

  • Create and update schedule for all live streaming events that are fed to/delivered from the Arena.

  • Book freelance editors, motion graphic artists, and QC/Technicians as needed.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Post Production Management department schedules to help prioritize projects for department.

  • Assist with editing post production projects as needed.

  • Collaborate with media managers to maintain and inspect all equipment, update the equipment tracking system, and ensure equipment is accurately logged in & out.

  • Ensure accurate inventory of all post production equipment. 

  • Track equipment trends in order to make recommendations for future upgrades and replacements.

  • Maintain project tracking database, schedule staff assignments, work with management to prioritize projects, and archive production deliverables and invoices.

  • Coordinate remote edit, technical, and project specific logistics.

  • Other duties as assigned. 



Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of industry computer equipment and software.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Availability to maintaining flexible hours based on event schedules and staffing needs.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, ShowMgr, Adobe Premiere, Salesforce, and other industry standard programs a plus.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
