Safety Safari Driver

Job Summary

1. Will interact with all Safety Safari Team Members at the National Event level.


2. Will work at a level consistent with the association standards.


3. Will work on and maintain Safari equipment necessary to conduct a national event.


4. Applicant will have mechanic skills and background, use of shop tools and equipment.


5. Applicant will have basic fabrication skills for in the field repairs.

1. Will maintain and repair equipment as directed.


2. Will maintain maintenance records for equipment.


3. Will maintain warranty records on equipment.


4. Will assist with inventory database for supplies.


5. Will assist with track preparation.


6. Driver and transportation of equipment from event to event.


7. Will assist with all equipment being clean and ready for use at event.


8. Will help create a safe working environment with observations and suggestions.


9. Will assist with special events, test sessions, etc.


10. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Emergency Services.

1. Maintain an active SFI Incident Response Certification.


2. Maintain a CDL Driver License, class A with air brake endorsement and Medical Card.


3. Maintain Insurability under NHRA Insurance Policy.


4. Member in good standing with the NHRA Safety Safari. 


5. Requires nationwide travel and working in various work environments include extreme weather.
