Job Summary

 
 
Primary Responsibilities 
Total Rewards

  • Partner with broker to research, design, recommend and implement benefit plans that present the best value

  • Answer employee questions about coverage, acting as a liaison between the employees, third party administrators, and benefit vendors 
  • Plan and execute wellness events such as on-site flu shots, biometric screenings and quarterly newsletters

  • Ensure the timely remittance of 401k employee and employer contributions 

  • Manage the processing of monthly benefits billing for all group plans

  • Manage the annual rollout of compensation changes to all employees 

  • Manage compensation surveys with third-party vendors 

  • Monitor unemployment claims by reviewing claims; substantiating documentation; requesting legal counsel review as needed 

 
Integrated Talent Management 

  • Manage new hire process inclusive of background check monitoring, issuance of new hire paperwork as well as new hire orientation on rotation 

  • Establish, review and modify relocation strategy including vendor management and employee communication 
  • Manage the maintenance of the company directory and other organizational charts 

 
Data & Technology

  • Own and develop HRIS system and processes and conduct routine audits to ensure the integrity of the data 

  • Establish and maintain record keeping requirements and reports ensuring full compliance of employment files both physical and digital and retention of I9s, terminated employees, etc.

  • Maintain shared folder on drive to ensure effective knowledge sharing with employees

 
Facilities 
  • Manage the movement of departments and employee locations in Headquarters location including planning, communications, and procurement of office furniture as needed 
 
Compliance

  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program filing EEO1 annually and maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations

  • Manage the timely submission of annual benefits 5500 and 401k 5500 

  • Manage the timely submission of the USOPC Diversity Scorecard 

  • Ensure timely distribution of mandatory plan documents and notices in accordance with the DOL and IRS (e.g., Summary Plan Description (SPDs)) 

  • Ensure posting of federal and state labor regulations in prominent places on premises 

  • Establish processes to ensure employee adherence to background check and SafeSport requirements

 
Process Management

  • Create and maintain a Talent Operations manual with key processes and accountabilities

  • Implement document & knowledge management strategy across multiple platforms

  • Actively identify gaps and risks (e.g., workflow, programs, policies), propose and implement change 

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget 

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems 

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of labor law and legal requirements 



Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • At least (3) years of experience in Human Resources or a related field 

  • Experience regularly working within a HR technology system such as a Human Capital Management (HCM) or Human Resources Information System (HRIS) 

  • Experience identifying and implementing improved processes that increase efficiencies, reduce redundancies, or achieve productivity gains 

  • Organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality 

  • Adept at problem solving, identifying issues and resolving in a timely & professional manner 

  • Communicate clearly – clear, unambiguous, and convincing - both written and orally, to build relationships and partner at all levels 

  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality and professional maturity 

  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends as job duties demand

 
Desired Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration 

  • Professional certification in human resources (e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP) 

  • Exposure and understanding of Benefits enrollment and processing 

  • Passionate about deriving insights from raw data 

  • Paylocity system experience 

  • Exposure and understanding of Payroll processing 

  • Attentive listener; understanding, empathetic, and personable 

  • Self-motivated and proactive under minimal supervision 

  • Service oriented 

  • Passion for the sport 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
