Job Summary


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four years athletics administration experience, including three years of experience as a creative producer, videographer, or editor of turn-key video productions
  • Qualified background as Sports TV Producer/Director for broadcast-quality television

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Creative and imaginative
  • Ability to manage production crew
  • Work with student labor force and ability to teach production skills to student labor force

Other Requirements or Other Factors:

  • Position will require sports event coverage and television production as assigned requiring frequent nights, weekends, and holidays to fulfill assigned duties
  • Travel required to cover sporting events

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree with three years athletics administration experience including three years in broadcast-quality television production
  • Qualified background as Sports Television Post Production as a Producer, Editor, Videographer
  • Sports broadcast-specific television production background -In-stadium big-screen video board experience producing or technical directing (or script-writing) -Experience managing large (50+) crews and staff

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Turnkey Production background in sports television production creative
  • Knowledge of NCAA and SEC Conference rules and regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Executive Producer - Identify subject matter, develop multiyear plans and oversee the production of concurrent documentary projects.
  • Creative Production - Develop project budgets, hire crew for each documentary project and oversee production of all projects.
  • Filmography - Utilize mastery-level of post-production creative media gathering skills to shoot, light, and mic video interviews, scenics and content for broadcast level media content. Conceptualize and direct Studio and location video productions, including interviews.
