  • From coordinating with our Engineering management to ensure effective project execution and coordination of resources, to collaborating with our project team, customers, and management to ensure every project is on track, we are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Project Management to join our team.
  • As our Executive Director, you will lead the planning and implementation of Sports Capital projects.
  • You will supervise project managers and be responsible for the successful completion of those projects.
  • This exciting opportunity will allow you to plan and organize the capital budgeting process across Sports and manage the capital budgets throughout the budget cycle.

 Duties:

  • Coordinate with Engineering management to ensure effective project execution and coordination of resources
  • Preparation of project budget and schedule with ongoing monitoring and reporting
  • Collaborate with project team, customers, and management to ensure project is on track and team is working effectively
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain detailed and high-level project plans
  • Capture changes to the project scope, schedule, budget and resources for input into the change management process.
  • Coordinate inventory management, as needed
  • Manage user training, acceptance testing and turnover
  • Manage resource planning/allocation, Risk Mitigation, Communications, Implementation, and Post-Implementation activities for all assigned projects
  • Collaborate with project team, customers, and management to ensure project is on track and team is working effectively
  • Assist the project team by capturing customer requirements, help to define the technical direction, identifying the required tasks and task owners, monitoring progress and determining completion dates
  • Plan and track project milestones, work breakdown structure, tasks, timelines, work progress, budget, changes, and allocation of internal and external resources
  • Capture changes to the project scope, schedule, budget and resources for input into change management process
  • Oversee and provide direction to vendors and contractors, review documentation across teams, implement improvements and standardization
  • Map current and design future processes, Implement new processes and procedures, work with all project management leads to determine best practices, and collaborate across all teams to implement change

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 7+ years of technical project management experience
  • Minimum 2 years recent exposure and experience in a technology environment
  • Good communication with regards to financial and budgetary matters
  • Very functional knowledge of accounting, finance and budgets
  • Excellent spreadsheet skill, and easily adaptable to other computer/web/cloud operations
  • High Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience in broadcast engineering environment
  • Experience in a production, post-production environment
  • Computer literacy, including a proficiency in, MS Visio and MS Project
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work and interface across multiple departments
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, network, storage and database concepts
  • Understanding of Project Management tools/approaches and the ability to utilize them to manage complex projects effectively
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to provide positive reinforcement and motivation to team members
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively drive large teams and build collaborative relationships
