Community Relations Internship

Job Summary

• Offer a unique memorable experience for guests and exceptional customer service

• Assist mascots during any events on top of off-site appearances


• Other duties as assigned

• Applicants must receive college credit for internship and pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relation or another related field, or participate on a volunteer-only basis


• Highly motivated, energetic and talented individual with excellent non-verbal communication skills to entertain fans


• Ability to follow directions and work independently


• Must have reliable transportation to and from events


• Passion for soccer and baseball a plus


• Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

• Work in fast-paced environment


• Most work is conducted outside in all weather conditions including cold, wind, rain, and heat


• Flexibility to work long hours, evenings and weekends


• Some travel required

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
