On-Air Talent / Associate Producer

Job Summary

• Serve as on-air personality for VEN content platforms including, but not limited to TV, Radio, Podcasts, Digital, Social Media and Editorial.
• On-air roles may include those of; host, reporter, commentator, and others as directed.
• Contribute to content development for VEN production team, specifically in regards to LIVE programming and “franchise” content.
• Collaborate with VEN Producers on various content needs from ideation and research up through execution of the final product to support organizational initiatives.
• Assist Director of Broadcasting with day-to-day logistics with contract talent.
• Represent team at various league / team special events and road trips; including serving in a talent role in some instances.
• Serve as one of VEN’s content liaisons with internal departments such as Football Admin, Football Ops, and PR as well as radio partner KFAN and iHeart Media.
• Contribute to annual process of evolving VEN content offerings.
• Serve as a department leader with communication, including Slack and email.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experience working on-camera both in a post and live production environment.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with fans and general public in all interactions.
• Must operate with an inclusive mindset in all communication and activities.
• Ability to maintain professional working relationship with executives, athletes, and media.
• Must be a positive team player with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate within communication parameters set forth by team.
• Four years of relevant experience in a similar role, or three years in an NFL team environment.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to travel with the team as needed/directed.
