Game and Event Operations Seasonal Associate

Job Summary

 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of the Fiesta Bowl Parade including all operations, vendor relations, TV broadcast partnership, volunteer and committee supervision, Parade School, and load-in / load-out planning

  • Oversee communication and logistics with all participant groups including sponsors, community groups, and internal groups

  • Assist with maintaining event budget and invoice processing

  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Fiesta Bowl Youth Football Clinic including but not limited to layout, structure, and transportation coordination

  • Assist with the coordination of all band and cheer practices, game and parade day logistics, lodging, meals and committee member / liaison oversight

  • Assist in overseeing all game operations credentials including production and distribution.

  • Support where needed for other events within the Operations Department; including but not limited to the Par 3 Challenge, charity events, and game operations

  • Assist with the physical set up and tear down of events within the Operations Department

  • Event responsibilities may change or be added as necessary 

  • Assist with the coordination of orders and delivery schedules for events 

  • Communications and coordination with other interns, staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, independent contractors and participants

  • Manage contact lists, data-entry and running errands

  • Prepare meeting materials, take meeting minutes and compile individual event meeting action items

  • Assist with management of event committees to include committee members and volunteers

  • Assist with moving, storing, organizing, preparing, loading, and unloading event specific items and supplies in the warehouse storage and office storage areas

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Email Management



Qualifications:

  • Proven examples of written and verbal communication

  • Bachelor’s degree, or currently in progress

  • Experience in event planning and execution preferred

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and long hours standing

  • Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and adaptability within interchanging environments

  • Dependability and flexibility to work long hours including evenings and weekends as scheduled or needed
