Manager, Network Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manager of Network Engineering focused on Media and Live Broadcast to design and implement highly resilient and scalable networks supporting media workflows and live broadcast events. You will be support for the business units and work alongside our Engineering Team.

Snapshot of Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, build and integrate solutions and service
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning
• Design and implement broadcast video and audio network infrastructures
• Implement complex projects
• Design and deploy necessary controls to ensure the network meets service levels

Required Experience/Skills

• CBNT (Certified Broadcast Networking Technologist)
• 10+ Years’ experience in a technical or Broadcast network operations support environment
• Strong networking background with a focus on Cisco and Arista routers and switches hardware
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Core Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting for media broadcast environments
• Routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, WAN connectivity, Spanning-tree, Port Channels, Load balancing, Multicast PIM Sparse/Dense, MSDP, NAT
• Quality of Service understanding and configuration, able to customize across all platforms to support broadcast video and audio
• Excellent understanding of VPN - site to site, client, IPSEC (including the protocol suite), IKE, DMVPN, tunnel modes, Tunnels between ASAs, Routers
• Knowledge and experience of Network Security, including the design, configuration, and tuning of Cisco/Arista and Palo Alto appliances
• Core or Internet (DMZ or External Facing) infrastructures relating to Broadcast Technology

• Spine-leaf Architecture
• EVPN-VXLAN
• PCNSE Certification
• CCNP Certification
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS Environments
• Media Asset Management Systems
• Knowledge of Live Broadcast Production Environments
