Digital/Social Media Intern

Job Summary

• Creates and publishes digital and social media content
• Cover team and organizational events
• Shoot, edit and post daily press conferences during the season
• Collect player-related content, including but not limited to: Q&As and video packages
• Analysis of Digital/Social Media performance 

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or similar discipline


• Minimum of two years experience as a student working for a college newspaper, television or radio station, website, college sports information office or in a communications department of a sports organization


• Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends & holidays) and travel


• Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Knowledge of and experience with basic video production (Adobe Premiere) & still photography


• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to self-edit


• Knowledge of navigating popular social media platforms


• Experience with Photoshop preferred


• Must have experience writing with AP Style
