Assistant Women's Golf Coach

Job Summary

The responsibilities of the Assistant Women’s Golf Coach include but are not limited to:

Coaching, daily instructions with the team, recruiting, player development, transportation of players to and from practice, overseeing academics of players, team travel and compliance with NCAA, CAA and the university regulations.

 Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Candidates must have previous coaching experience at the collegiate level and the ability to recruit high level student-athletes at the Division I level.
• A qualified candidate will possess the skills in teaching course management to student-athletes and helping them on course in tournaments.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills and will possess initiative and leadership. The ability to guide and support the University student-athletes in their quest for excellence-academically, athletically and socially as they prepare for productive and meaningful lives is essential.
• In addition, the ability to establish a good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, parents, administrators, faculty, staff and the community is required.
