Associate Athletic Director/CFO

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY :

Manages financial operations of athletic department and provides leadership for the department and several sports programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES :

30% - Essential - Financial & Budgetary Administration: Oversees revenue and expense accounting for all varsity sports programs, athletic support departments, IPTAY, and aviation department. 

30% - Essential - Leadership: Provides leadership, supervision, development and evaluation of Athletics Business Office staff. Supervise onsite travel agent and foster relationship with Anthony Travel. Support coaches, staff and student athletes for assigned sports (currently secondary supervisor for Men's and Women's Golf and Volleyball). 

20% - Essential - Strategic Development: Develops and assists in developing long-range financial plans and forecasts for the Athletic Department. 

15% - Essential - Strategic Assessment/Reporting: Oversees preparation of annual financial reports (university, NCAA, and EADA) and internal and external audits. 

5% - Essential - Additional University and Departmental Assignments: Assists with additional university and departmental initiatives and projects as necessary (ex: Bowl games, golf tournaments, Rugby liaison, WEAVE report, ERM dashboards, etc.)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years work experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :

Master's Degree in accounting, business administration, finance and experience directly related to accounting, business administration, finance, or closely related field.
