Facility and Athletic Communications Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Inputs all athletics facility reservations into the central calendar system
• Create and distribute communications to community members regarding events at Conlan Recreation Center.
• Monitor external facility rentals.
• Help create, schedule and direct all marketing materials for summer camps.
• Lead summer camp staff recruitment.
• Assists with all intercollegiate game statistics.
• Reports game statistics to NCAA Statistics and Pacific West Conference.
• Produces and procures Athletics marketing materials, such as brochures, pocket schedules, and posters.
• Design and implement promotional and marketing strategies to increase attendance and enhance awareness of athletic events and sports programs
• Responsible for parts of the Athletics website, including updates of results, press releases, schedules, and rosters.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in an athletics environment.
• Experience working as a camp coach or supervisor.
• Strong employee customer service orientation.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Must be professional, diplomatic and able to serve diverse constituents with equity, fairness and tact.
• Current driver's license and satisfactory driving record required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Higher Education setting
