Summary of Job Duties

The Head Athletic Trainer, Women's Basketball/Women's Golf will be responsible for providing healthcare to student-athletes to include the prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of the student-athlete injuries and illnesses under the supervision of team physicians, the Director of Sports Medicine, and Senior Associate Athletic Director.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• NATABOC certified
• State licensed or eligible
• At least five years of athletic training experience
• Independent decision-making experience relating to the care and treatment of injured/ill student athletes
• Experience developing and implementing treatment and rehabilitation programs for injured student athletes

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• At least seven years of athletic training experience
• Experience with NCAA Division I basketball or professional basketball athletic training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Knowledge of University, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations
• Knowledge and ability to provide quality health care services
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends (on-call 24/7, 365 days a year)
