Job Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• What are the essential responsibilities that must be met in order to accomplish the purpose of this job?
• Design, implement, monitor and conduct sport performance programs tailored to sport specific needs that facilitates maximum benefits for sports teams and individual student-athletes.
• Collaborate with the athletic training staff to develop rehabilitation programs designed to develop the student-athlete's speed, strength and conditioning while minimizing injuries and time lost from practice and/or competition.
• Support educational programs for student-athletes about nutrition and supplementation.
• Ensure the proper operation of the sports performance center, including conducting risk management and equipment maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and CSCS or SCCC certification(s) with two (2) years of experience as a certified sports performance coach in competitive athletics at the professional or collegiate level
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
• First Aid and CPR certified.
